Time to leave and feeling sad. We had a wonderful time this year with lots of swimming, fishing and campfires. Jack and Jason enjoyed this visit the most than ever before. They can’t remember NOT coming here – so it has really become a part of them and us as a family. R.H./MA
Lower and Upper Wilson Pond are nestled in the shadows of mountains, including Elephant Mountain, known for the B-52 crash site in 1963. The Ponds offer quieter waters for anyone seeking to enjoy a peaceful day in a canoe or kayak. The privacy and solitude that they give will bring you “lasting mental relaxation.” Wilson Pond Camps offers motor boat, canoe and kayak rentals. There is a public boat landing nearby for those who have their own boats, canoes and kayaks. With the Pond being 7 miles long, and over 120 feet deep in places, anyone can seek whatever they choose to do on the Pond. Anglers abound in great fishing experiences. Kayakers and canoeists can spend an entire day gliding across the ponds and sneak up on loons, moose and other wildlife that make the Ponds their home. Come and see why everyone calls this place “ A REAL GEM” and "a little piece of heaven."
